Temples, manga and ramen. Part II

At this point of the travel we've already met some wonderful people and we've seen some amazing places. But Japan was waiting for us to see all its other wonders. And it was totally unexpected.

The first wonder we saw the next days is the Koya San, a holy mountain with a huge cemetery, with the mausoleum of the monk Kukai, who settled the mount the first time. The silence, respect and solemnity of this place is something I'll never forget.

After a night in Nagoya, we moved to Inuyama, where a masturi was waiting for us.

Magome is a little traditional village, where the love for traditions and ancient values is stronger than modernity. We wanted to hike from Magome to Tsumago, via the old postal road, but the wet weather won. It was an occasion to visit and discover lovely details of Magome.
